Sue Stratford

Sue Stratford started her knitty career as owner of The Knitting Hut, which led to an exciting design career including the publication of eight best selling knitting books including her latest title 'Knit Me, Dress Me, Love Me'.

2017 sees the launch of her first garment range of a sweater and two easy to wear cardigans using Coopknits 'Socks Yeah DK'.  In the past Sue has collaborated with Save The Children, Innocent Smoothies, Nestle Shreddies, Millamia and Erika Knight amongst others.  She owned and ran The Knitting Hut in Woburn Sands, Buckinghamshire, UK. After ten successful years, the shop has closed to give Sue more time to concentrate on her design work.

Sue is inspired by lovely yarns and likes working with natural fibres. She regularly exhibits at fibre and textile shows around the UK and teaches classes on a number of different techniques. She lives in Milton Keynes with her long-suffering husband, five children and numerous animals. Visit her website at www.suestratford.co.uk.

When she is not busy dreaming up more cute creatures to knit, she can be found at home with some knitting in her lap, happily surrounded by her five children, dogs and chickens.
