Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

We will cover the basics of stranded knitting in this class. Stranded knitting is used in various types of knitted designs, including Fair-Isle, Scandinavian sweaters, Bohus Stickning sweaters, etc.

We will knit a simple coffee cozy to learn the skills. 2-handed stranded knitting will be demonstrated if students are interested.  Tips and techniques for managing multiple yarns will also be discussed.

Skill level:  Beginning – Advanced knitters. Must be familiar with knitting in the round with either dpns or magic loop on circulars, reading charts. The chart is just a grid showing the color of the yarn for each st so it  is not complicated.
