Macrame: It's Back, It's Cool and It's Now - SOLD OUT

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

From the Age of Aquarius, macramé is here again, but different.   Once learned, it is Zen and so beautiful.   Taken from the ancient mariners and tamed, macramé can produce the exotic to the mundane.  You will make a key fob to learn the knots, then continue to make a gorgeous bracelet.  You'll have enough cord to make your bracelet and key fob in class, with enough material leftover to take home to make a necklace and earrings ( findings are available at craft stores).   If you can tie a knot on a package, you can macramé.

In this workshop you will learn: A brief history, Ideas for materials one can use for macramé, Knots (Larks Head, horizontal and vertical half hitch, square knot, and twisted square knot), Adding beads, where to purchase supplies, and a handout.
