Let's try Japanese traditional textile art with Bengala mud dyeing! Bengala is an earth-based fabric dye made from soil. uses very little water, and is environmentally safe and fun to use. After a short lecture and demo of sustainable dye method, you will design your own fabric with Bengala and indigo dye color using a Japanese Itajime shibori technique. You can try 3 different wooden patterns to make various designs.
